Midthunder is a member of the Fort Peck Tribe of Assiniboine. She is originally from The Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending much of her life in Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics as well as where her mother worked at a casting company) after which she came home. Amber originates from an Native American family on her father's side. Both are members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber is of mixed ancestry because her mother is an adopted. Prey stars a majority of Native American actors, such as Dakota Beavers (who is Blackfeet and Comanche) and Jhane Meiers who has been the director of the show for years. Coco the charming animal actress who is playing Sarii was selected because of her unique breed in the form of an American Dingo. The American Dingo is among the most ancient dog breeds and is is also known under its own designation, Carolina Dog.
There is another message in all this; throughout the film, TJ narrates the love he has for Amanda and how she is everything to him (although there are parts of his narration that could be actually about Amanda's daughter if we examine the story further). He reveals his feelings towards her but she rejected him because she was with Daniel. Later, Jack married Amanda and shortly after, her death Emily disclosed her real name. From then on, they've been their best friends. After the episode, they'll marry. Amanda kisses Wilf just before midnight. One person is the winner of the prize pot
