Her first major role in the screen was Fiona Gallagher from the UK television series Shameless in the series' initial two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) in which she played the role of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2015, the series From Darkness featured her as the lead character. Duff had roles such as Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008. The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I fall asleep (2015) and Suffragette. The actress was nominated for BAFTA Awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen.
